V2 300 Protein Skimmer

Hi, I have just purchased and installed a V2 300 Protein Skimmer and whilst ease of fitting etc is very good, it is a little noisy in operation.

Is there any way of making it run quieter? or will it settle on its own?

I wonder if buy attaching an air hose and air stone to the ozone attachment option this would quieten it down?		 Stevie B 27/1/2010
