Schuran Filtration Components

The Jetstream is a new type of calcium reactor which uses a gas/water separator and offers optimum management of carbon dioxide. Every bubble is used and any CO2 remaining is dissolved. The water inside the calcium reactor is circulated by a centrifugal pump and the water being saturated with carbon dioxide creates an acidic medium in which the coral sand is dissolved as calcium hydrogen carbonate.

Jetstream Pico

For aquariums up to 600 litres.

This compact yet highly efficient calcium reactor can be filled with up to 1 litre of coral sand and can be used inside or outside the filter sump

• Supplied with a Maxijet 1000 circulation pump.

• Maximum Flow Rate: 60ml/min = 3.6l/hr max.

• Dimensions: 130 x 155 x 400(h)mm.

Jetstream 1

For aquariums up to 3000 litres.

This calcium reactor has a 2.5l reaction chamber which is mounted on a board together with a large volume Bubble Counter, and is designed to be positioned outside the filter sump.

• Supplied with an Eheim 1250 circulation pump.

• Maximum Flow Rate: 150ml/min = 9l/hr.

• Dimensions: 350 x 150 x 600(h)mm.

Jetstream 2

For aquariums up to 10000 litres.

This calcium reactor is a larger version of the Jetstream 1 but with a 7.5l reaction chamber.

• Supplied with an Eheim 1260 circulation pump.

• Maximum Flow Rate: 400ml/min= 24l/hr.

• Dimensions: 450 x 200 x 900(h)mm.

Larger calcium reactors are available on request.

BubbleCount

A large volume bubble counter for measuring the volume of carbon dioxide in an aquarium.

Nitrate Filters

Nitrate can accumulate in the aquarium causing excessive algae growth and affecting water quality. The Nitrate Filter 100 from Schuran reduces the levels of nitrate in your tank with the help of self-grown denitrifying bacteria which are fed with sulphur or diluted alcohol.

• Reaction chamber for 1.5 litres of sulphur balls or ceramic media (when alcohol is used).

• Double injector.

• High flow rate ensures highest performance.

• Suitable for aquaria between 300 and 3000 litres.

• Mounted on a bottom plate, and can be placed inside or alongside a filter sump.

• Supplied with an Eheim 1250 circulation pump.

Multifilter 100

A quick pressure filter which is suitable for most sizes of tank. Can be used with any filtration material and the tap valve on the top of the filter allows adjustment of the amount of water passing through the filter.

• Supplied with an Aquabee UP1000 pump.

• Dimensions: 120 x120 x 500(h)mm. Media not included.

Flow Bed Filter 100

A highly efficient biological filter for both freshwater and marine applications. Suitable for systems with high levels of bio-mass, particularly those with larger densities of fish.

• Includes 1.5 litres of filter sand.

• Supplied with an Eheim 1250 pump.

Bio Tower M

This is a trickle filter consisting of a pre-filter fleece sheet, rotating spray bar and a highly efficient reaction chamber.

• Dimensions: 330 x 330 x 505(h)mm.

• Biological filter media is available on request.

Bio Bag Type M

A Mechanical filter bag unit consisting of a compact acrylic cube with three fleece filter bags. The filter bags can be used on their own or filled with activated carbon or other filtration media.
