Seachem Ammonia Alert

Palletised Tanks & Reservoirs

All TMC reservoirs are made from white polyethylene, suitable for saltwater and freshwater applications. They are non-corrosive and non-toxic and can be used for seafood and hatchery applications. All TMC reservoirs are palletised so that they can be easily moved, stored and stacked. The Depuration Tank has a double wall for extra insulation and four drainage ports so it can be quickly and completely emptied. As used on the TMC Compact System and TMC Systems 2500 and 5000. Additional reservoirs can be added onto a system to help increase its capacity.

TMC System Controller

The TMC system controller was designed to fulfil four main functions:-

1. To act as a cable tidy - the system controller has 5 switched relay outputs (for pumps, UV steriliser, etc.) and operates off a single 13A plug supply.

2. To protect expensive equipment from "running dry" when the water level in the reservoir is low (via a float switch).

3. To protect the biological filters when the reservoir is low by maintaining a water supply to the biofilters for as long as possible.

4. To protects the livestock by alerting the user to a low water level in the reservoir via an audible buzzer (can be connected to an external relay for remote alarm indication).

In the event of a low level in the reservoir, the float switch will switch off all the components (except Aux. 2 which is not controlled). In most instances, additional water in the in the supply pumps running to the livestock tanks will drain back into the reservoir, raising the water level again. The float switch will reactivate and switch on the two filtration relays which are responsible for supplying water to the biological filters. An audible buzzer will sound, alerting the user to the low-level status.

The livestock supply pump and UV require a manual reset. An audible buzzer and float switch are supplied with, but not connected to, the unit.

The unit is IP54 rated. The maximum power rating for each of the relays is 5A.

TMC High Precision Refractometer

The TMC Refractometer offers a reliable and accurate way of determining true salinity in the aquarium and fish farm environment. Not only is it quick and easy to use but it is also very straightforward to calibrate.

The refractometer will give readings in both scales of measurement i.e. specific gravity (S.G.) and salinity (S). Automatic temperature compensation is achieved by way of a bi-metallic strip inside the rugged housing.
