Freshwater ProductsSolupraz is the first soluble and water dispersible treatment that will rid your fish of Skin & Gill Flukes and All Tapeworms.Stop "Flashing" and "Flicking"!
• Highly soluble special formulation. • Very effective and simple to use. • Comes in convenient pack sizes. • Extremely safe - will not harm bio-filters or pond life. Solupraz comes in two pack sizes:- • 10g - enough to treat a 2500 litre (550 gallon) pond • 100g - enough to treat a 25,000 litre (5,500 gallon) pond Treatment GuidelinesJust add the Solupraz powder to your pond, making sure you turn off any UV lights and carbon filters for 24 hours. Treat Annually - for prevention of tapeworm. Treat Twice, 7 Days Apart - to treat gill & skin flukes. Solupraz is a high quality pharmaceutical grade product, complying with EU regulations and is produced and sold by vets. Why use Solupraz rather than cheaper, competitor products?• The active ingredient in Solupraz is praziquantel and Solupraz contains 50% of this active ingredient. Competitor products use a different active ingredient - flubendazole - which works in a similar way at the same concentration as praziquantel, yet these competitor products contain less than 5% of this active ingredient. Not only does this mean it is unlikely to work satisfactorily but it also greatly increases the chance of the parasites becoming resistant. • Solupraz is specially formulated to be soluble in pond or tank water at any temperature. However flubendazole is insoluble in water at room temperature, which is why flubendazole-based products have to first be dissolved in boiling water. Obviously when this solution cools it can crystallise which is far from ideal. • As flubendazole products are supplied on a calcium carbonate/pure limestone carrier this will obviously affect the pH level in your pond or tank and it will certainly will have no beneficial effect on product solubility or any other aspect of fluke treatment. • There is no peer-reviewed scientific data to support the use of flubendazole to treat flukes whereas there is a significant amount of scientific experimental data proving that praziquantel works and also demonstrating the dose required which is why Solupraz was designed with that exact formulation. For all these reasons Solupraz is the Professional's choice! |
